Chambers Web Site Case Study
Stage 1
Website Design - December 2007
Purpose
To provide a modern, corporate website design for Chambers’ Melbourne based and
international operations. The website design had to be highly usable,
interactive and reflect Chambers Sino – Australian business base with a balance
of western and Chinese references for the international corporate market, in
particular the mining sector.
A web design challenge was to provide an elegant, usable layout for what is a text heavy site, and which may be published in both Chinese and English languages.
Web Development
The feature set provided behind the website design encompasses Content Management System (CMS) integration for all pages on a framework capable of running multiple language versions of the site and supporting the next stage of works, a client intranet.
Outcome
Successful user training in CMS functionality and site launch in December 2007.
Stage 2 works
Chinese language version and first phase of intranet are imminent.
